100,000 to Travel by Train on Eid Occasion in Pakistan

About 100,000 passengers would travel to various parts of the country through special trains started by the Pakistan Railways on the occasion of Eid, state-run APP reported Sunday.

 

Pakistan Railways on the occasion of Eid has planned to run 40 special trains to various part of the country.

 

Last year about 80,000 people traveled by train to return to their hometowns to celebrate Eid with their beloved ones.

 

Pakistan government has announced Oct. 23-26 as Eid holidays. People have thronged bus and railway stations to reach their hometowns to celebrate Eid with their families these days.
