Space Trip for Ordinary Folk in Beijing

Traveling in space is no longer a remote dream for ordinary folk. The world first space amusement park will help you to experience being an astronaut.

The 7,400 square meter space amusement park, costing US$5.2 million, opened Sunday at the Beijing Exhibition Hall.

In the park, visitors will land on the virtual surface of the moon while experiencing weightlessness. They will also get a chance to taste space food.

The park blends advanced technology with sci-fi movie skills to provide a vivid sense of reality.

The tickets are 68 yuan (US$8.2) for adults and 48 yuan (US$5.8) for students.
