A matchmaking party held in Beijing for three eligible bachelors
has attracted more than 100 single women to attend.
The three heroes of the party were 26-year-old Mr. Song, boss of
an enterprise chain, 30-year-old Mr. Yin, senior consultant for an
investment company, and 46-year-old Mr. Li, a former senior
official in the government.
Ms. Ge, the organizer of the activity, says that the basic
requirements for the heroes of the party were that they have a
bachelor's degree and over one million yuan, or about US$125,000 in
personal capital.
During the party, they could talk with the women applicants and
ask them to sing and perform a dance. Marriage consultants and
psychologists were on hand to help them find a match based on an
analysis of their personalities.
Miss Zhang, a white-collar lady, says that she wasn't sure
whether the three men, however excellent, would suit her or not.
She just wanted to get to know them.
Miss Wu, another participant in the activity, complains that the
organizer gave them little time to talk to each other. She came to
the event with an aim to find out the requirements of these elite
men for their future lovers, but had no chance to ask.
