Aiming to grab a slice of the mainland's video market, Hong
Kong's Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) has prepared three
dramas to be released in the beginning of 2007.
It just so happens that all three dramas are about the struggle
of young men to grow up. A lineup of such handsome actors is sure
to stir up a storm. And what is the nature of these specific
storms?
Firstly, the Brink Law, starring Steven Ma, tells the story of
young people working in the law industry, bravely investigating the
inside dealings of large companies.
Meanwhile, starring Bosco Wong and Sammul Chan, the Price of
Greed details a property battle within a family. "A million people,
with a million different greeds and lies." is what we are promised
from this drama. The two main protagonists are known as the flower
boys of TVB. What no one doubts is that The Price of Greed will
draw great female audience figures.
With the arrival of a big festival, it is tradition for comedy
dramas to appear. Adding magical elements to humourous ones,
Heavenly in?Claw, featuring Joey Leung and Wing Chung, will be sure
to attract viewers with its light-hearted, romantic story.
