Hong Kong actor Aaron Kwok and Chinese mainland actress Xu
Jinglei have been awarded this year's Most Attractive Actor and
Actress by Hong Kong's Society of Cinematographers.
At Monday's grand annual award ceremony held by the Hong Kong
professional body of cinematographers, the Best Cinematography
Award went to Hong Kong's photographer-turned-director Andrew Lau,
who is director of a last year HK cinema hit Confession of
Pain.
Receiving the cherished award, Andrew Lau expressed his
gratitude over the honor since it was the first time for him to
receive the award as a photographer.
For mainland actress and director Xu Jinglei, it was also her
first award she received in Hong Kong despite many other awards she
had received as an actress on the Chinese mainland.
These three top awards all came by closed ballots of the
professionals at the Hong Kong Society of Cinematographers. The
society has been renowned in HK and overseas for its 20 year
outstanding commitments in forging ahead its high profile
professional expertise and first-rate production.
