Fans of Hong Kong acting and singing superstar, Andy Lau, will
soon snap up a toy he designed which will be unveiled at the
upcoming Taipei Toy Festival.
In a shock move, Andy Lau named his toy "Andox," a combination
of Andy and Ox.
The toy will be put on show Thursday when the festival opens at
a shopping center in Taipei, but fans have to wait until Saturday
to buy one.
There will be only 300 sets of the toys available.
Because of the product's limited run, fans in Taiwan and Hong
Kong are reportedly planning to camp out in line for several days
to buy one.
Andy Lau sewed the first Andox back in May, with the inspiration
coming from his latest Mandarin album, which touches on an ox's
fantasy world.
He loved his hand-made work and posted a series of photos of him
with the Andox on his official website.
The photos attracted a great number of clicks, and fans demanded
Andy Lau make more because they just had to have one.
