New promotional posters have been released for Blood Brothers, the closing film at this year's upcoming Venice Film Festival.

Among the mug shots adorning the posters are lead actors Hsu Chi, Daniel Wu, Liu Ye and Chang Chen.

It is an action film telling a story happened in 1930s Shanghai.

Legendary Hong Kong action film director John Woo and Terence Chang are on board as co-producers.
 
The storyline is based on Woo's 1990 film Die Xue Jie Tou (Bullet in the Head).
