Chinese mainland pop singer Li Yuchun is busy promoting the
charitable sale of her new EP Green. Those who buy the EP
will simultaneously contribute one yuan to environmental
protection.
Five versions of her song Green, including a Chinese,
English, guitar and two remixes are included on the EP which is now
being exclusively sold on joyo.com.
Environmentally friendly printing ink has been used in the print
and production of the EP.
Li Yuchun said it's an honour that she can make a small
contribution toward environmental protection. "I use energy-saving
lights at home and resolutely protest against the use of disposable
chopsticks. It is easy for me to do such trivial things in my daily
life, but in the long run it's very important for the environment"
the pop idol added.
Recently the budding diva also recoded The Same as You
for the Chinese Red Cross Foundation, offering them copyright of
the song.
