Sina.com.cn reports that the popular rising actor Wang Baoqiang held a release conference for his debut EP single "Go Home for the Spring Festival with or without Money" at the Beijing Melody KTV on Thursday afternoon.

Wang Zhongjun, the president of Chinese film company Huayi Brothers, and actors Li Naiwen and Zhang Yi attended the conference to express congratulations to Wang Baoqiang.

The former crowd-scene extra rose to fame through his role in director Feng Xiaogang's 2005 New Year's movie "No Thief" and became the sensation of 2007 for the top rated TV series "Soldiers Sorties." He also starred in Feng Xiaogang's latest blockbuster "The Assembly."
