As Emma Entertainment Tuesday announced that the April 13 Celine Dion concert will be postponed due to the impact of sandy spring weather on the singer's voice, a spokesman for Celine Dion denied the statement later on the same day.

Local newspaper Beijing Evening News received a letter from the spokesman, saying it is the concert organizer, Emma Entertainment, that should be responsible for the cancellation since it had already sold more than ten thousand tickets without permission.

Celine Dion will solve the problem between her and the organizer through legal means, added the spokesman.

He also said the international star regrets the cancellation. She will still arrive in Beijing on April 11 and attend a series of activities for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games on the next day, including CCTV's countdown program and media interviews.
