Nepal-India water resources meeting begins in Nepal

The fifth secretary level Nepal-India meeting on water resources is going to be started in western Nepali city Pokhara from Friday.

Western Regional Irrigation Director Pradip Pandey informed that discussion will be held on various issues including irrigation, water induced disaster control, water resources and energy.

The two-day meeting is learnt be led by Energy Secretary Shankar Koirala on behalf of Nepal and Indian Water Resources Secretary Umeshnath Punjiyar on behalf of India.
