South Korea is set to host an international environmental conference next week in Seoul, where world leaders and business moguls will discuss climate challenges, the government said Tuesday.
The B4E Global Summit, or the Business for the Environment Global Summit, will be held between April 21 and 23 at the COEX convention center in southern Seoul to coincide with Earth Day 2010, according to the environment ministry.
The summit, aimed at promoting business-driven action for the environment, will be joined by prominent figures including President of the Maldives Mohamed Nasheed, film director James Cameron, and Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, the ministry said.
