Southwest and northwest China are to see rain over the next three days with some regions in southwest China's Tibet and Guizhou to be hit by storms, China's Central Meteorological Station said Saturday.
The flooded Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in south China is also going to see more rain during the next three days. Heavy downpours are forecast in the region's north on June 7.
Torrential rain that began pounding Guangxi Monday -- triggering landslides -- had led to 51 deaths as of Saturday.
Rain is also forecast for the northwest Gansu and southwestern regions including Tibet, Sichuan, Chongqing and Yunnan for the next three days. And some areas in Inner Mongolia, the northeast, and the south will see rain as well.
Strong winds are expected in Xinjiang, Gansu, and Inner Mongolia, which are likely to cause dust storms.
