China's meteorological authority said Sunday temperatures across China will keep rising over the next three days while light to moderate snow will hit some parts of north China.

Temperatures in most parts of China will continue to rise over the next three days, with the cold front dissipating, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) forecast.

At 5 a.m., Jilin and Liaoning provinces saw temperatures rebound by up to 15 degrees celsius while temperatures in Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province, jumped from 2.9 degrees celsius to 13 degrees celsius on Saturday.

Snow will hit parts of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Gansu, Qinghai, Sichuan provinces over the coming three days, the NMC said.

Fog is forecast to continue shrouding south China over the next 24 hours, which may reduce visibility to less than 1,000 meters in some parts of Zhejiang, Yunnan and Fujian provinces.

The NMC suggest southerners drive carefully amid the fog to prevent casualties and financial losses.
