A shallow earthquake with magnitude of 5.0 struck off Java island of Indonesia earlier Friday, the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency reported.
The quake jolted at 00: 58 a.m. Jakarta time Friday (1758 GMT Thursday) with epicenter 132 km southwest of Bantul of Yogyakarta province and with the depth of 10 km, the agency said. But there were no immediate reports of casualties or property damage from the tremor.
