A study suggests that drinking decaffeinated coffee could improve our memory, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Researchers said the drink could improve the memory of people suffering from brain diseases or age-related forgetfulness. They gave a dietary supplement with decaffeinated coffee to mice with type 2 diabetes. The disease lowers glucose levels in the brain, causing memory impairment.

However, after receiving the treatment for five months, the mice showed raised glucose levels. Dr Giulio Maria Pasinetti of the Mount Sinai School in New York, who led the research, said tests on humans could follow.
