A ministerial level meeting on forestry and biodiversity cooperation between Nepal and China kicked off here on Thursday.
The meeting is the first of its kind after the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on forestry and biodiversity on June 3, 2010 between the two countries.
Leading the delegation of six members, Chinese Minister of State Forestry Administration Jia Zhibang arrived in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
During the meeting, matters related to the implementation of the MOU, ecological security, environmental protection and forestry development among others were discussed.
