The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, will vote on a draft decision to amend the Law on the Promotion of Clean Production at the end of its bimonthly sessions.
The decision to vote on the draft was made at a meeting of the chairman and vice chairpersons of the NPC Standing Committee on Tuesday. The meeting was presided over by Chairman Wu Bangguo.
The NPC Standing Committee members will also vote on a draft decision regarding the issues of methods for the selection of Macao Special Administrative Region's chief executive and the formation of the region's legislative council.
