South Korea will host an international forum next month to discuss ways to support countries seeking green growth and green economic development, the forum's co-organizer said Thursday.
Top economic and environmental policymakers and experts will gather in Seoul on May 10 to join the two-day Global Green Growth Summit (GGGS), the state-led Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) said in a statement.
The second summit, aimed at seeking the transition to a new paradigm of green growth, will be co-sponsored by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the U.N. Environment Program.
Officials and experts will share their long-term vision and short-term policy recommendation on green growth, according to the GGGI.
The inaugural summit was held here last year.
