Dense fog engulfs central, east China

Vehicles move slowly in dense fog in China's Tianjin municipality on early Jan. 22. The visibility in some parts of Tianjin is less than 100 meters. China's meteorological authorities said Monday that central and east China will be shrouded in fog through Tuesday morning, and the National Meteorological Center (NMC) has issued a blue alert for the fog. [CFP]
