Dense fog engulfs central, east China

Vehicles move slowly in dense fog on Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, Jan. 22.  China's meteorological authorities said Monday that central and east China will be shrouded in fog through Tuesday morning, and the National Meteorological Center (NMC) has issued a blue alert for the fog.
