Tibetan Sand Fox 
"China Endangered Species Image Project" is a public campaign launched by Wild China to rescue animals on the verge of extinction through photographs. The best domestic nature photographers were invited, and those committed to photographing endangered species were eligible for financial and technical support. Establishing a photo bank for endangered animals in China is one crucial piece of the plan, which will showcase the natural splendor as well as the beauty of wild animals and plants.

Tibetan Sand Fox

The Tibetan sand fox is a species native to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Excessive hunting for its fur has caused a sudden drop of its number. As part of a key project in the campaign, photographer Pei Jingde recorded a family with newborn pups in region around the sources of the Yangtze, Yellow, and Lancang Rivers, 5,000 meters above sea level.
