Meconopsis horridula grows in the rock crevices on the hillsides with an elevation of 4,100 to 5,400 meters. Bitter in taste, it is slightly poisonous and with functions of promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis and ease pain, which can be used in curing traumatic injuries.
