The carcass of a Chinese white dolphin was found at the beach of Neilingding Island, Shenzhen on Sept. 20.
Experts estimated that the death of the creature was caused by wooden sticks in the water used to farm oysters might have blocked the dolphin and caused several cuts on it.
The Chinese white dolphin, with the nickname "giant panda of the sea," is under first-class state protection.
