Smog to linger in north China

Light to moderate air pollution will continue to affect China's north over the next three days, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) said on Sunday.

Smog will hit parts of Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Qinghai and Gansu from Sunday to Tuesday, according to the NMC.

It suggested people avoid outdoor activities.

A cold front from Tuesday night will help dispell the smog, said the NMC.
