Rescuers try to extricate Bian Gangfen from ruins in a chemical factory in the quake-hit Yinghua Town of Shifang City in southwest China's Sichuan Province, May 17, 2008. Sniffer dogs are trained to detect signs of life. Rescue crews are using both sniffer dogs and life detection equipment to locate survivors.
