An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter Scale shook New Zealand North Island's Hawke's Bay on Saturday morning, causing no casualties or damage.
The quake at 6:47 a.m. local time (17:47 GMT Friday) was centered 10 km west of Hastings, at a depth of 30 km, New Zealand' s Institute of Geological and Nuclear Sciences reported.
The quake was felt in Flaxmere, Parkvale, Westshore and likely to be widely felt in Hawke's Bay.
