5.2 magnitude earthquake jolts SW Taiwan

An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale struck Kaohsiung County in southwest Taiwan at 8:04 AM Beijing Time Tuesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter was 23.0 degrees north latitude and 120.6 degrees east longitude, it said.

No casualties and damage have been reported so far.
