Forestry police caught Gao Shanxi and Han Jun, 30 and 21 respectively, after staking out for them for eight days.
The carcasses of four gray cranes were also seized from the suspects' van. They reportedly operated a restaurant along the Yellow River bank, which has wild animals on the menu.
They face a jail term because cranes are currently under the State's strict protection.
