NDRC: Lower water consumption in industries

The National Development and Reform Commission expects to lower the country's water consumption per 10,000 yuan (US$1462.39) of value-added by industry by 5.6 percent this year.

The percentage of industrial solid wastes that are comprehensively utilized is expected to reach 65.9 percent.
