Photos taken on April 24, 2008 shows the mirage appeared on the desert by the snow-covered Qilian Mountain, in Golmud, northwest China's Qinghai Province.

A mirage is a naturally-occurring optical phenomenon, in which light rays are bent to produce a displaced image of distant objects or the sky.
