Reminiscences of Mongolia has been short-listed in the 7th Mao Dun Literary Award in 2008. An American film company is trying to buy the copyright of the book, hoping to make a good movie out of it. It is a masterpiece of vivid description of Genghis Khan as a real man. Although the story of the hero is known to the public, the vividly presented details still make the moments of history real and fresh.
