China's Aviation Industry Strengthens SARS Control
Adjust font size:
China's aviation industry will strengthen measures to curb and prevent the spread of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).

All airports that have regular flights will be installed with thermometers before May 1. All passengers are required to have their temperatures tested and fill in a health declaration form. All airports will also strengthen ventilation and sanitary measures.

Airline companies will strengthen sanitary work on board aircraft. If a SARS patient is identified, it must be immediately reported. Appropriate medication and equipment will also be carried on aircraft.

Aviation safety is also emphasized. Employees will be provided with necessary protection products.
