Shanghai-bound Airlines to Measure Passengers' Temperature
Adjust font size:
Local civil aviation authorities have asked some Shanghai-bound foreign passenger aircraft to measure passengers' temperature, beginning Monday.

All airliners from SARS-hit foreign nations and regions must comply, while all local cabin crew returning from SARS-affected overseas areas will have to be quarantined for two weeks.

Foreign aviation companies have been asked not to send their Shanghai office staff to SARS-affected regions.

Currently, 37 foreign airlines have offices in the city, and 14of them are operating international airliners.
