China Daily and 11 other media groups have united to ask questions, which may be presented to the premier when he meets the press on March 18.
On education
As an American expat teaching English in Hunan Province, I often hear how the (Party) Central Committee has put more emphasis on education and culture, and that these are important areas for the central government. At the local level, however, we have yet to see any evidence of this. When will the program be felt at the grassroots level and in what form will it come?

On jobs
The thing I care most about is employment. I am a postgraduate student and will finish my studies in one year's time. I hope the country introduces practical polices to create many job opportunities.

On prosperity
Long-term prosperity in China relies on the development of rural areas. It is imperative for the government to spend more and develop the countryside steadily in order to narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas.

On nepotism
We must rid the country of nepotism. It is a huge problem lurking behind the fight for betterment. If we fail, crooks of all sorts, like officials and firms, will continue to cover things up and engage in corruption, which are against the national interest.
