Chinese lawmakers have voted-in a new line-up for the State Council. It took place at Monday's plenary meeting of the First Session of the 11th National People's Congress, China's top legislature.

Member of the Standing Committee of the Politbureau of the CPCCentral Committee, Li Keqiang, has been chosen as one of the four vice-premiers of the State Council. The other three are Hui Liangyu, Zhang Dejiang and Wang Qishan. NPC deputies have also approved Liu Yandong, Liang Guanglie, Ma Kai, Meng Jian-zhu and Dai Bingguo as state councilors.
The meeting decided on Zhou Xiaochuan as governor of the People's Bank of China, Liu Jiayi as auditor-general of the National Audit Office, and Ma Kai as secretary-general of the State Council. Ministers and heads of commissions were also approved. The name list was nominated by Premier Wen Jiabao. The meeting also voted for the composition of the special committees of the 11th NPC.
