Handbook for Foreigners in Beijing Published

A handbook, designed to help foreigners better understand of Beijing as easily and quickly as possible, has been published.

Compiled by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Beijing Municipal Government, the 160-page handbook contains the latest government policies and regulations, and services information regarding entry and exit procedures, living in Beijing, employment, taxation, marriage, adoption of children, schooling, medical services, religion, laws, traveling, catering and daily life, among others.

Currently, over 70,000 foreigners work and live in the Chinese capital, which also hosts over 3.5 million temporary foreign visitors each year.

The pocket book is written in both Chinese and English.
