Three kids in south Nepal die of unknown disease

Three children died of an unidentified disease in south Nepal, Nepali national news agency RSS reported on Monday.

According to the report, at Khutta Piparadi in Mohattari district, some 130 km south of capital Kathmandu, the deceased are five-year boy Rahmat Nadaf, four-year boy Kamarul Nadaf and four-year girl Jamila Nadaf.

It is learnt that the children succumbed to the unknown disease after suddenly feeling uneasiness in their eyes.

Rahmad Nadaf died in his home while the other two died when undergoing treatment at local hospital.

Dozens of villagers have fallen ill due to the mysterious disease. Among the ill, eight have been admitted to the hospital. The ill patients have manifested the symptoms of difficulty in speech.

The District Health Office of Mohattari has said that a team of health workers has been dispatched to the disease-hit site for investigation.
