All the 147 passengers, who had exposure to the confirmed A/H1N1 flu patient surnamed Bao in Sichuan province on the flight NW029, had been contacted by Beijing Health Department, said the department on Wednesday.
As of 5:30 p.m.. all the 147 had been found, mostly foreigners, in different provinces or regions, which had brought difficulties to the searching job, said the department.
Bao was the second confirmed case of A/H1N1 influenza in China. A 25-year-old male Mexican was confirmed on May 1 in Hong Kong to be infected with influenza A/H1N1, and those who were in close contact with him were put under quarantine in 19 mainland regions.
One more case was confirmed in eastern China's Shandong Province by China's Ministry of Health Wednesday. Authorities are seeking plane and train passengers who had exposure to the patient surnamed Lu.
