The Vietnamese Ministry of Health confirmed 45 more influenza A/H1N1 cases, bringing the country's tally to 383, local newspaper the People reported Monday.
All the newly confirmed cases are in the southern provinces, said the ministry.
So far, 299 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals. The rest are being quarantined and treated in stable conditions.
The country has reported no death in connection with the disease since its outbreak, said the newspaper.
