Four rockets launched by Palestinian militants landed in different places in southern Israel on Friday afternoon, causing no injuries or damages, local Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported.

At around 4 PM (14:00 GMT), two rockets, fired from the northern Gaza Strip, landed in an open field near the southern town of Sderot and a third landed south of Ashkelon, said the report.

About two hours later, another rocket was fired at Israel and landed in an open field near the southern community of Nativ Haasara, just south of Ashkelon, it added.

No injuries or damages were reported in the incidents.

Meanwhile, representatives of four Palestinian militant groups held a press conference in Gaza on Friday, vowing to avenge the killing of seven Palestinians by Israeli troops this week.

The al-Quds Brigades, the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, the Salah al-Din Brigades and the Abu-Reish Brigades also threatened more rocket attacks on Israeli targets.

Earlier on Friday, two Palestinians were killed by Israeli troops in separate incidents in the Gaza Strip.

One Palestinian, who attempted to place an explosive device near the security fence on the Gaza-Israel border, was shot and killed. Elsewhere, Israeli troops fired at four Palestinians near the Gaza border, killing one of them.

The Palestinian side, however, said that all the Palestinians were unarmed and were trying to enter Israel for job opportunities.

On Thursday evening, Israeli troops killed five Palestinians, at least three of whom were members of the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, which is an armed wing of Fatah movement, during fierce clashes in the West Bank city of Nablus.
