Wen Concludes Visit to Australia

Premier Wen Jiabao concluded his four-day visit to Australia on Tuesday and left for the South Pacific island state of Fiji to continue his four-nation trip.

 

During his short transit stay in Sydney, Wen met with New South Wales Premier Morris Iemma.

 

Earlier on Tuesday, Wen was seen off by Australian Prime Minister John Howard's representative, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade Mark Vaile, at Canberra airport.

 

Wen will also visit New Zealand and Cambodia. He will attend the first China-Pacific Island Economic and Development Cooperation Forum, to be held in Fiji on April 5-6.
