China, Japan Sign Document on Yen Loans

China and Japan on Friday signed a document on Japanese yen loans to China in fiscal year of 2005.

 

Japan will offer 74.798 billion yen (US$645 million) loans to China, according to the document signed by Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Wu Dawei and Japanese Ambassador to China Yuji Miyamoto.

 

The loans will be used in 10 projects in China, involving environment protection, human resource development and education.
