Wang Jiarui, senior official of the Communist Party of China
(CPC), met with a delegation of senior officials from Laos in
Beijing Tuesday.
Wang, head of the International Department of the CPC Central
Committee met with the delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister
Somsawat Lengsavad, also member of the Political Bureau of Lao
People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee.
They discussed topics of common concern such as the
multi-polarization, economic globalization and terrorism.
He outlined policies of the CPC and the Chinese government, such
as the independent foreign policy of peace, promotion of a
harmonious world and a harmonious Asia.
