Romania said Thursday that China is one of its most important
Asian partners and the bilateral relationship is based on a steady
friendship.
Romania's EU accession opens new opportunities for the
development of bilateral cooperation and the promotion of the
presence of Chinese business community in Romania, said vice

headed by Deputy Minister of Commerce Liao Xiaoqi.
During the meeting, Bascu and Liao discussed the promotion of
bilateral trade and cooperation in such fields as IT, energy and
infrastructure construction.
Liao, on behalf of the Chinese government, extended welcome to
all Romanian companies that wish to expand business in China.
