Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing and Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad
Seniora on Monday exchanged views on issues relating to the
upcoming international conference on aid for Lebanon in Paris.
Speaking over the phone, Li affirmed China's support for
rebuilding efforts in Lebanon and said China will continue to make
contributions to the promotion of peace and stability in the
war-devastated country.
In the telephone conversation, Li and Seniora also pledged their
countries' continued efforts to further enhance the friendly and
mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Lebanon.
Li conveyed Premier Wen Jiabao's regards to Seniora, who also
asked Li to pass his regards to his Chinese counterpart.
