A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC)
yesterday expressed hope that the ruling parties of China and
Vietnam further exchanges on the management of party and state
affairs.
He Guoqiang, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central
Committee, made the remark in talks with Ho Duc Viet, member of the
Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).
He, also head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central
Committee, said he believed the visit by the CPV delegation would
help enhance the trust and friendship between the two parties and
the two countries and promote the exchanges on the theories and
experiences on managing party and state affairs.
He said the exchanges between the two organization departments
are an important part of the exchanges of relations between the two
countries and the two parties, adding he hoped the visit by the CPV
delegation promote the lasting, steady and healthy development of
the good-neighborliness and friendship and all-round cooperative
ties between the two countries.
He also briefed Ho on the on-going annual parliamentary sessions
of China and the situation of party construction.
Ho, also head of the Organization Department of the CPV Central
Committee, said Vietnam attaches great importance to the CPC's
theories and experiences in leading China's socialist construction
cause, and is ready to strengthen exchanges with China and to learn
from each other to jointly advance the socialist cause.
Ho is invited by the CPC on a visit to China from March 11 to
18. Besides Beijing, he will also visit Shanghai, the business hub
of China, and the booming Guangdong Province in south China.
