Adjust font size:

The Chinese government will continue to provide material and technology support to Mozambique, Mozambique News Agency (AIM) Monday quoted a senior Chinese official as saying.

"We are going to introduce technology and experience acquired through the 30-year reform and opening policy to Mozambique," said Wan Gang,China's Minister of Science and Technology, when he visited the Chinese-sponsored agricultural-technology demonstration center and Moamba science and technology garden in Maputo, Mozambique.

Venancio Massingue, his Mozambican counterpart, said the Chinese-sponsored projects will give an impetus to tap Mozambique's natural and human resources potential to the full.

AIM reported that the demonstration center's construction will start this April with work on the science and technology garden to begin in the second half of the year.
