The Israeli government donated 1.5 million dollars worth of materials to China's quake area via the Chinese Foreign Ministry Thursday.

According to the ministry source, the relief supplies are to be transported from Israel to China in two batches. The first batch has arrived here Thursday afternoon carried by Israeli civilian aircraft, consisting of such relief materials as sleeping bags, blankets and water purifiers.

The second batch will be directly transported to disaster zones in Sichuan Province by Israeli special planes soon.
