Greek students staged fresh protestations outside the Ministry of Education in Athens on Tuesday while they had a demonstration march to the Parliament in the center of Athens.
Part of Panepistimiou Street was closed. Just before 3 p.m. local time, a group of the hooded attacked a police car in that street.
Meanwhile, Greek Minister of Education Evripidis Stylianids sent a Christmas message, saying "The ministry is willing to listen to the new generation and to look into its views in the framework of the dialogue that will start in 2009."
Since a 15-year-old student was killed by shooting of police in a conflict on Dec. 6, Greek young people launched a series of demonstrations condemning the police as well as the government policy on education and economy.
